The 2016 TaylorMade M2 8 Iron is a distance-focused game-improvement iron designed to launch the ball high and far while still being very forgiving on mishits. There isn’t anything special or unique about the 8 iron specifically, it follows the same design philosophy as the rest of the 2016 M2 iron set, which was built as one of TaylorMade’s “longest and easiest-to-hit” game-improvement lines.
