The 2005 TaylorMade rac TP 60° wedge is a tour-inspired forged lob wedge designed for maximum spin, soft feel, and precise short-game control. It features TaylorMade’s Y-cutter groove technology, which uses sharp, CNC-milled groove edges to increase friction with the ball and generate high spin rates and strong stopping power on greenside shots. This design was part of TaylorMade’s early “rac TP” (Tour Preferred) line, which focused on workability and feel for better players rather than forgiveness or ease of use.
