The 2008 TaylorMade Burner Plus 6 iron is a classic game-improvement long/mid iron built to make the game easier through distance, forgiveness, and high launch. It uses a large cavity-back head with perimeter weighting and a low centre of gravity, which helps stabilise the face on mishits and get the ball airborne easily. The design also includes TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology, which expands the effective sweet spot and helps maintain ball speed even when contact is slightly off-centre.
